About
Beautiful Births

Beautiful Births is a pioneering brand founded by Jacqui Blue, driven by a passion to revolutionize the childbirth experience. Jacqui’s personal journey through childbirth profoundly shaped her mission. After experiencing a c-section followed by two diverse in-hospital VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) deliveries, and ultimately a serene water birth in a freestanding birth center, Jacqui realized the profound impact that informed choices and supportive care could have on the birth experience.

In 2014, Jacqui’s vision materialized with the release of the Beautiful Births documentary. This acclaimed film was born from her desire to share her experiences and insights, highlighting the Midwifery Model of Care and the transformative power of holistic birth options. The documentary resonated globally, reaching audiences in 31 countries and inspiring many to consider alternative approaches to childbirth.

Building on the success of the documentary, Jacqui expanded Beautiful Births in 2019 to include the Beautiful Hypnosis-Births program. As a clinical certified Hypnotherapist specializing in pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum support, Jacqui created this program to offer women personalized hypnotherapy sessions and a self-guided course designed to support a smoother, more empowered birth experience.

In 2023, Jacqui and her longtime friend, and collaborator Jackie Korpela released the book version of Beautiful Hypnosis-Births. This innovative book features 15 chapters, stunning photography, and an interactive 6-session hypnotherapy program, complete with workbook pages, QR codes linking to videos and MP3s, and practical tools to help women make informed choices and enhance their birth experiences.

In October 2024, Jacqui Blue further expanded Beautiful Births with the launch of the 30-Day Postpartum Journal. This comprehensive resource is designed to address postpartum mental wellness with a range of supportive features, including daily check-ins, journaling pages, guided hypnosis MP3s, engaging activities, and educational content on postpartum care.

Jacqui’s dedication to reducing postpartum maternal suicides stems from her profound concern about the mental health crisis affecting new parents. Her commitment to this cause is deeply personal and rooted in her extensive research and advocacy. In 2023, suicide was responsible for a staggering 39% of maternal deaths, underscoring the urgent need for effective mental health support during the postpartum period.

Jacqui’s second documentary, which addresses the broader suicide crisis, highlights her deep commitment to mental health issues. While this documentary explores the general crisis of suicide, it underscores her ongoing concern for mental health, which directly inspired the creation of the 30-Day Postpartum Journal. This journal is designed specifically to support new parents, offering a comprehensive resource for postpartum mental wellness.

The 30-Day Postpartum Journal combines practical tools with emotional and educational resources to address the needs of new parents. It includes daily check-ins, journaling pages, guided hypnosis MP3s, and engaging activities, all aimed at helping parents navigate the complexities of postpartum life with greater resilience and support.

Through this initiative, Beautiful Births continues to lead the way in advocating for better mental health care and support for new parents, ensuring that every parent has the resources they need to thrive during the postpartum period.

Additionally, Beautiful Births now offers free support groups for postpartum parents, parents of toddlers, parents of teens, and single mothers. These groups provide a safe, non-commercial space for parents to connect, share, and find community support, fostering a nurturing environment away from social media pressures.

Beautiful Births is not just a brand but a movement towards better births and holistic support, inspired by Jacqui Blue’s unwavering dedication to improving the childbirth and parenting experience for women and families.
